How to Detox through Your Feet

According to Chinese medicine, the whole body can be detoxified through the feet. Namely, the feet have energy zones which are connected to the main organ systems in the body. Therefore, detoxification of the body through the feet removes internal toxins in a similar way sweating does. Below, you have a detailed explanation on how to detox the body through the feet.

You need to buy foot detox pads and then apply them prior to sleep and then remove them in the morning. If the pads are darkened, it means that the body is free of toxins.

You should also try ionic foot bath which is based on electrolysis, a method of using an electrical current to create a chemical reaction. Warm water is used to open the pores whereas salt acts as an anti-inflammatory astringent. Next, when the ions are absorbed, the feet detox is done and the salt water darkens.

These baths can be performed on the entire body. Let’s take a look at several ways to do them:

Salt detox bath

A cup of Epsom salt

A cup of sea salt

2 cups of baking soda

Apple cider vinegar

Essential oils (optional)

Boil water and then add the Epsom salt, sea salt, and the baking soda. Next, fill the bathtub with warm water and add some apple cider vinegar and the previous mixture. If you want to, you can add some essential oils of your choosing.

Soak in the bathtub for half an hour to soothe skin irritation, detox the whole body, and elevate the magnesium levels.
